PhilHealth offers 600 Nursing Jobs

Philippine Health Insurance Corporation popularly known as Philhealth needs nearly 600 nurses to be recruited to hospitals all over the country to provide better service to members.

Although 600 is minimal compared to the thousands of nurses in our country, this is still great news to the  unemployed nurses.

The Project entitled Philhealth Cares (PhilHealth Customer Assistance, Relations and Empowerment Staff) will train nurses to help and lead Philhealth members to make the availment of benefits smoothly

They will not only help the members but also the hospitals in facilitating the documentary requirements of the members, all in all making the processing of claims faster than the usual.

"We value partnership. The main reason why we are innovating our ways is to be more responsive to the needs of our members and partners," said Dr. Eduardo P. Banzon, PhilHealth President and CEO."The launch of PhilHealth CARES will definitely improve our front line service, with PhilHealth personnel assisting them at point-of- service which is the hospital. Availment of benefits will be easier and more convenient. They may also assist non-members and encourage them to enroll in the National Health Insurance Program," he added.

Apart from the assistance the nurses will provide, the CARES will also gather data through surveys, exit interviews with patients and members and the like. Although the CEO clears that Nurses will not do premium collection functions.

Interested applicants may email their resumes tohrmdd.admin@philhealth.gov.ph under the subject heading"PhilHealth CARES application."
